This homemade peach salsa is a quick and easy fruit-based salsa to enjoy all summer long (or whenever you find yourself with a surplus of peaches). Enjoy it with tortilla chips or served on top of your favorite protein (chicken would be delightful).

Homemade Peach Salsa
This homemade peach salsa is a quick and easy fruit-based salsa to enjoy all summer long. Enjoy it with potato chips or served on top of your favorite protein (chicken would be delightful).
Ingredients:
- 1 medium peach pit removed and diced
- 1/2 cup bell pepper diced
- 1/2 small jalapeno pepper seeded and diced
- 1 Tbsp red onion finely chopped
- 2 tsp lime juice
- pinch salt
- Optional: fresh parsley or basil, crushed red pepper, paprika, chile lime seasoning, etc.
Instructions:
- Add all ingredients to a small bowl and stir to combine. Transfer to the refrigerator and let chill for 2 hours.
- Serve with tortilla chips or atop your favorite protein like chicken or seafood.
Notes:
Find yourself with a surplus of jalapeño peppers? I chop and deseed an entire bag at a time and then freeze them in strips to use for later.
